A little history
In ancient times, Roman sailors wore aquamarine amulets to protect themselves from storms. It was believed to have come from the treasure chests of mermaids, ensuring a safe crossing. It is also said that the emperor Nero used polished Aquamarine as the first version of spectacles to improve his view of gladiatorial spectacles.
