The red color of Bull's Eye comes from the oxidation of Tiger's Eye under the effect of heat, which modifies the iron-rich crocidolite inclusions responsible for the characteristic shimmer.

A little history

Although Bull's Eye is a relatively recent discovery in gemology (often the result of controlled heat treatment of Tiger's Eye), its vibratory properties have quickly brought it into line with traditional protection stones.
