PINK AVENTURINE
Pink Aventurine is a tender stone, as much for its delicate color as for the gentle energy it exudes. Discovered in the same regions as its more famous green cousins, it has seduced us with its discreet charm and ability to evoke tenderness, compassion and optimism. Slightly glittery due to the presence of mica or hematite, it seems to catch the light to better diffuse its inner warmth. Used since Antiquity to create talismans promoting inner peace, pink Aventurine is today associated with an open heart and personal fulfillment.

A little history
Aventurine owes its name to an accidental discovery made in the 18th century by Venetian glassmakers who, by accidentally dropping copper shavings into molten glass, created a sparkling material called "aventurine" (avventura meaning "by chance" in Italian). Although the term was first used to describe glass, it was soon attributed to this natural stone, whose glittering lustre evoked the same effect. Natural Aventurine, particularly in its pink form, was used long before this anecdote in China and South America to make amulets supposed to attract happiness and prosperity.
