OBSIDIAN
Obsidian is a deep-black volcanic stone formed by the rapid cooling of lava. Naturally vitreous, it has always fascinated with its dark, razor-sharp brilliance, both mineral and organic. Used since prehistoric times to fashion weapons and tools, it has also been regarded since Antiquity as a mirror of the soul. Its reputation as a stone of truth and protection makes it one of the most powerful and respected stones in traditions the world over.
